We offer the Behind The Wheel Course required for all sixteen year olds wishing to receive their permit. As part of the Graduated License Program, sixteen year olds must possess their permit for a minimum of six months BEFORE they are eligible to take a road test to obtain their provisional license. Prior to taking the course, you will need to:
Be at least sixteen years of age
Pass an eye test(administered in our office) with or without corrective lenses
Pass a written test in the high schools or the test is also administered in our office
Have a parent/guardian signature
The course covers: starting of the vehicle, steering, signaling, stopping, turning, backing, intersections, three point turns, highway driving, parking, and more.
We also offer an insurance reduction certificate to all who complete the course. Once presented to your insurance company, you will receive a discount from five to twenty percent on your auto insurance, depending on the company.
